Amy Wishner MSN, RN brings over 25 years of nursing, public health, epidemiology, research, and public and provider education experience to the PA IEP. As IEP Director, Ms. Wishner develops program content, writes and updates Speaker's Notes and slides, develops teleconferences, recruits and trains IEP presenters, and represents the IEP at local and national conferences. IEP Senior Program Assistant Sharon Shepherd, BS, has been with the IEP for over 10 years. Mrs. Shepherd brings her expertise in event planning as she coordinates educational programs with presenters and host sites throughout Pennsylvania. Kathleen Marker, RN comes to the Academy with 17 years of experience as a nurse manager in a large suburban pediatric office in addition to extensive clinical experience in neonatal and pediatric nursing. Mrs. Marker completes the follow up for IEP presentations, supplies technical assistance to practices, and collaborates with IEP staff about immunization issues in the practice setting.
